Hello, I'm
Senior Mobile Engineer · Android
11 years. Backend roots. Now building for mobile.
I'm a Senior Mobile Engineer currently building Android at Lemfi, with 11+ years of roots in backend engineering — scalable APIs, distributed systems, and microservices that handle millions of users without breaking a sweat.
I've worked across fintech, e-commerce, ad tech, and SaaS — from QR code analytics at Bitly to product pipelines at Kaufland. I've led engineering teams and shipped production code, and I bring that full-stack perspective to every layer I work on.
Microservices, distributed systems, and high-throughput data pipelines
Managed teams of 12, mentored engineers, introduced best practices at scale
Test coverage, observability, monitoring — because production surprises are overrated
The questions everyone's thinking but not asking.
I'm Lynda — a Senior Backend Software Engineer with 11+ years of experience building systems you've probably used without knowing it. I specialize in scalable APIs, microservices, and distributed systems. I'm the person who makes sure things don't fall apart when a million people show up at once.
At Bitly, I helped build the dynamic QR code platform used by millions of customers worldwide — including backend analytics services running on AWS Lambda. At Kaufland Ecommerce, I built batch pipelines translating millions of product records across languages. And at Hotels.ng, I led the full rewrite of a monolith into microservices.
Both, and I refuse to pick. I've managed a cross-functional team of 12 engineers at Lemfi (iOS, Android, QA), acted as Scrum Master at Hotels.ng, mentored engineers on observability and debugging — while still writing production code when it mattered. The best engineering managers don't forget how to ship.
TypeScript and Node.js are home base. I also work fluidly in PHP, Go, and Swift. Infrastructure: AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform. Messaging & distributed workflows: Kafka and RabbitMQ. And yes — I write tests. Jest, PHPUnit, the whole deal. Good systems are tested systems.
Fintech (Lemfi), link management & analytics (Bitly), e-commerce (Kaufland, About You), digital advertising (Adition), social media analytics (Brandbastion), and hospitality/travel tech (Hotels.ng). Seven companies, three continents' worth of interesting problems.
Building systems that scale without drama. Good observability — because production surprises aren't fun. Mentoring engineers who are earlier in their journey. Introducing practices that make entire teams ship with more confidence. Oh, and gRPC microservices. Those are genuinely fun.
University of Nigeria, B.Sc. Computer Science with Statistics (2010–2014). Strong grounding in software engineering, algorithms, and database design — plus a healthy appreciation for the math that makes systems actually work.
